解放军东部战区总医院生殖医学科主任、主任医师、南京大学医学院教授、博士研究生导师。生殖医学国家重点实验室研究员。长期从事不孕不育症的临床治疗和科研攻关,围绕无、少、弱精子症、卵子老化、卵巢储备功能下降、卵巢早衰、辅助生殖技术对早期胚胎安全性评估、男性性功能障碍等领域进行了多方面临床和基础研究。分别是“江苏省科教兴卫工程”和“科教强卫工程”的重点培养人才。“江苏省333工程”第二层次培养对象。兼任江苏省医学会生殖医学分会主任委员、全军计划生育优生优育专业委员会常委等职。曾获原南京军区优秀基层标兵称号并荣立二等功1次,带领团队荣获集体三等功一次。以第一贡献者获国家教育部科技进步二等奖和军队科技进步二等奖3项次。以共同发明人获国家专利9项次。目前以第一负责人在研国家重大研究专项、江苏省重点研发计划一项,国家自然科学基金,江苏省自然科学基金,军队“十一五”面上课题等。以第一作者或通讯作者在pnasgutclinical chemistryaging cell等国际著名杂志发表sci论文60余篇。是《asian  journal  andrology》杂志的编委。第四批“国之名医-优秀风范”获得者。
