xilin earned his ph.d. in the medical school of the university of hong kong from 2012 to 2016. subsequently, he embarked on a research journey in prof. wu zhiwei's lab in nanjing university from 2016 to 2023. in 2023, he assumed the role of principal investigator at the medical school of nanjing university. his primary focus lies in the development of nanobodies or multi-specific nanobodies for combatting viral infections, tumors, and neurodegenerative diseases. additionally, his work includes exploration in aav viral vector-mediated antibody therapy and car gene therapy. in his quest for innovative solutions, xilin is at the forefront of developing ai-aided methods for nanobody discovery and engineering.
