jianghuai liu earned his bachelor’s degree in biochemistry from the department of biochemistry, nanjing university in 1998, and his ph.d. in biochemistry from boston university school of medicine in 2005. from 2005 to 2009, he conducted postdoctoral research on cell signaling at the university of pennsylvania. in 2009, he became a principal investigator at the model animal research center of nanjing university. dr. liu’s research focuses on developing novel genetic toolkits for biomedical research and agriculture.
