hao hong obtained his bs and ph.d. in biochemistry and molecular biology from the school of life sciences, nanjing university in 2002 and 2008, respectively. from 2008 to 2014, he worked as a research associate at the university of wisconsin–madison. in 2014, he joined the university of michigan medical school as a research assistant professor. since 2019, he has been as a full professor in the medical school of nanjing university.
his research interests primarily focus on the discovery of new radioligands, particularly peptides and engineered antibodies, for positron emission tomography (pet) imaging of various cancer types. additionally, he is interested in the establishment of metal coordination nanoplatforms for theranostic applications, specifically those involving radioactive metals such as zr-89, cu-64, and lu-177.
