lei fang received his bs degree from shandong university in 2001 and his ph.d. degree from nanjing university in 2006. he continued his postdoctoral training at the university of california, irvine from 2007-2011, and worked as research scientist at langone medical center of new york university from 2011-2015. he joined the medical school of nanjing university as an associate professor in 2015, and was promoted to professor in 2022. since 2019, he has also been a joint principal investigator of the chemistry and biomedicine innovation center at nanjing university.
