tangfeng lv is currently a chief physician and the deputy director of the department of respiratory and critical care medicine at nanjing jinling hospital, affiliated hospital of the medical school, nanjing university. he is also a doctoral supervisor at both nanjing university and nanjing medical university, and a master’s supervisor at southeast university and southern medical university.
he obtained his master’s and doctoral degrees in clinical medicine from nanjing university medical school in 2005 and 2008, respectively. he spent over a year in the united states at texas tech university to further his studies. then he returned to china and focused his research on multidisciplinary precision treatment models for lung cancer.in 2004, dr. lv played a pivotal role in establishing the first lung cancer precision diagnosis and treatment center in jiangsu province. now he is an expert in the comprehensive diagnosis and treatment of lung cancer.
he has undertaken six national or jiangsu provincial scientific research projects, and has received numerous awards, including two second prizes for scientific and technological progress from the ministry of education, a new technology introduction award from the jiangsu provincial health commission, and a first prize and two second prizes from provincial and military authorities as the second finisher.
dr. lv has made contributions to several sci papers as the first or corresponding author. additionally, he has served as the deputy editor-in-chief of translational lung cancer research (tlcr), an english journal sponsored by jinling hospital that focuses on lung cancer translational research. tlcr is an essential platform for academic exchange in the field of lung cancer both domestically and internationally.
