dr. jin is a chief physician, professor, doctoral supervisor, and principal investigator at the state laboratory of pharmaceutical biotechnology, nanjing university. she obtained her bachelor’s degree in stomatology from the fourth military medical university, followed by dual master’s degrees in stomatology and psychology and a doctorate degree in stomatology from the same university from 2001 to 2007. she conducted her ph.d. research work at the state key laboratory of new ceramics & fine processing at tsinghua university. from 2008, dr. jin started her postdoctoral training and was appointed as vice chief physician at jinling hospital, affiliated hospital of medical school, nanjing university. she worked as a visiting associate professor at md anderson cancer centre, university of texas, from 2012 to 2014. currently, she holds the position of professor and chief physician at the clinic medical school of nanjing university, and serves as the principal investigator at the state key laboratory of pharmaceutical biotechnology, nanjing university.
dr. jin has received many honors and awards, including the frechette new investigator award presented by the international association for dental research (iadr) in the usa, and the 2nd prize of jiangsu provincial scientific & technological progress award. her research focuses on biological materials and bone regeneration, as well as maintaining oral health in head neck cancer patients.
