guohua zhou is currently the director of the department of clinical pharmacy at jinling hospital, affiliated hospital of the medical school, nanjing university. in 2004, he was appointed as a doctoral supervisor. he is now a principal investigator in the state key laboratory of analytical chemistry for life science. dr. zhou obtained his ph.d. in analytical chemistry from tsinghua university in 1998, after which he worked as a senior visiting researcher at the central research laboratory of hitachi limited in japan from 1999 to 2006. he was granted the state council special allowance in 2017, and was recognized as a middle-aged expert with outstanding contributions by jiangsu provincial government of in 2006. his current research interests focus on developing new methods to solve the problems in personalized medicine and disease diagnosis.
