qiu rao received his m.d. and ph.d. degrees from the medical school at nanjing university in 2008 and 2011, respectively. from 2011 to 2013, he conducted his postdoctoral research in the department of pathology at nanjing jinling hospital, and was a visiting scholar in the department of pathology at indiana university school of medicine. he currently serves as the director of the department of pathology at nanjing jinling hospital. his research focuses on genitourinary system tumors and the molecular pathology of tumors.
