chunni zhang obtained her bachelor’s degree and master’s degree in the division of biochemistry, biology department, nanjing university in 1984 and 1987, respectively. she received her doctoral degree from the school of life sciences, nanjing university in 2005. since 1987, she has been working at jinling hospital, affiliated hospital of medical school, nanjing university. from1997 to 1998, she was a visiting scholar at the medical school, kumamoto university, japan. in 2010, she was appointed as a professor at nanjing university. her research interests include basic and clinical research on non-coding rna as a biomarker for disease.
