manlin duan obtained his doctorate degree from the medical school of nanjing university in 2003. since 2008, he has been serving as a professor at the medical school of nanjing university. he is currently a principal investigator in the state key laboratory of pharmaceutical biotechnology at nanjing university. his research interests include anesthesia for neurosurgery patients, hypothermic cerebral resuscitation and fluid therapy, and pain diagnosis and treatment.
