qian huang obtained his bachelor’s degree in clinical medicine from the second military medical university with in september 2000, and his doctorate degree in surgery from the second military medical university graduate school in september 2007. he is currently the deputy chief physician of the institute of general surgery at jinling hospital, affiliated hospital of the medical school of nanjing university, and an associate professor and doctoral student supervisor at the medical school of nanjing university.
dr. huang has presided over four projects supported by national natural science foundation of china, one logistic research project for the whole army, and one social development project of jiangsu province. he has also won several awards, including the first prize of science and technology progress of the whole army (5/10), the second prize of national science and technology progress (5/10), and the first prize of science and technology progress of jiangsu province (6/10).
dr. huang’s research primarily focuses on extra-intestinal fistulas, abdominal infections, inflammatory bowel disease, biomaterials, gastrointestinal surgery, and surgical nutrition.
