geng liu earned his b.s. degree in biochemistry from wuhan university, china, and his ph.d. degree in gene & development from the university of texas graduate school of biomedical sciences at houston, the united states, in 1999. following his postdoctoral training at the university of texas m.d. anderson cancer center, dr. liu joined the model animal research center at the medical school, nanjing university, as a principal investigator and professor of genetics in 2006. his research interests include tumor suppression, stress response, and cellular metabolic regulation.
